Dauphin Island Fishing Pier

Open year round, the Dauphin Island Fishing Pier extends 850 feet into the water and holds stands that sell food, cold drinks and tackle. A gorgeous spot to spend a day fishing, the pier offers the opportunity to catch red trout, flounder and even some species of shark!

Orange Beach Fishing Association

The Orange Beach Fishing Association is an organization of Charter Fishing Boats and services. The Association is the best place to begin looking for a the perfect charter boat. Members of the OBFA vary between offshore and inshore services, and specialize in a wide variety of types of fish including bass, flounder and tuna. The group also hosts the annual Ocean Beach Fishing Rodeo, a month long fishing competition held every October.

Leon Brooks Hines Lake

Great fishing in the area isn't limited to the Gulf, as the lakes and rivers offer prime bass fishing opportunities. Leon Brooks Hines Lake provides great bass fishing all year round, with the largest fish showing up from February through April. Catfish also abound in the lake, especially in the summer months. Many other fish including Bluegill, Redear Sunfish and striped bass can be caught seasonally. Restrooms, concessions, and tackles sales are all located on site.

Escambia Creek Wildlife Management Area

Located near the town of Atmore, the Escambia Creek WMA features 16,599 acres of small and big game hunting. The area is available for deer, turkey, rabbit, fox, quail and waterfowl hunting.

W. L. Holland & Mobile-Tenshaw Delta Wildlife Management Area

Located In Baldwin and Mobile Counties, the W. L. Holland & Mobile-Tenshaw Delta WMA consists of 58321 acres of marsh and timberland and more than 15,000 acres of shallow water. Seasons allowed within this WMA include deer, rabbit, dove, waterfowl, turkey and feral hog.
